I like go shopping. Whenever I have free time, usually I would go shopping. So, this topic is very interesting to me. These days, There are a lot of brands, and most people prefer to buy more popular brand's product, me too. This is differ from
situation to situation. For example, when I buy living necessaries such as toothpaste, food, I don't care about brands. Because these are not exposed to people. But, when I buy clothes or electronics, I consider it seriously. Actually,when I bought a car, I really wanted to buy a popular brand's car. I think brand symbolize people's wealth and most people think so. I think this is the way that express them by themselves. That's why I like to buy more popular brand's thing. However, since now, I try to not mind the brand. Because of my parents. My parents always wear cheap clothes and buy cheap things. I knew it a short time ago. I don't think popular brand product is not good, just I want to be dutiful to my parents.

I think you will find a balance between spending too much money on something just because it is name brand and buying a more expensive item because it is better. You may see that your parents buy cheaper items because there is no real difference in the value. It's all in perception.
